The only glimpse of Tim Stutzle fans at the Canadian Tire Centre willl get Saturday night will be his bobblehead.

The club’s top centre wasn’t on the ice Saturday morning and coach Jacques Martin told reporters Stutlze is day-to-day as a result of hit he took Thursday in a 6-0 loss to the Florida Panthers.

Stutzle appeared to suffer a shoulder injury when he was hit by Florida’s Niko Mikkola during the first period of the loss. Stutzle finished the game and will accompany the club on the road, but likely won’t face the Washington Capitals Sunday night.
Later in the game, Sam Bennett also punched Stutzle in the throat.
Disappointed with the lack of response by anybody on the ice to the incident, the Senators recalled rugged forward Boko Imama from their American Hockey League affiliate in Belleville Saturday morning. He will suit up against the Devils and will likely be in the lineup against the Panthers.
