Saquon Barkley had a stellar performance for the Philadelphia Eagles against the Jacksonville Jaguars. After three consecutive losses, the Dallas Cowboys' chances of advancing to the playoffs are getting slimmer. The NFL wrote these stories and others this weekend.
Saquon Barkley exits
In the Philadelphia Eagles' game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Saquon Barkley played a very strong game, advancing 159 yards and a touchdown, playing an important role in the Eagles' 28:23 victory. At the beginning of the second quarter, the 27-year-old player played an absolutely wonderful performance. First he broke one A defender was trying to make a tackle, and he went around his armpit, jumped over another defender, and was stopped.
This looked like a clear win for the Eagles for a long time. Meanwhile, Philadelphia leads 22-0. But after the Jaguars' first touchdown and a Saquon Barkley fumble, Jacksonville cut the deficit to six points.
Seven minutes before the end, DeVonta Smith caught a touchdown with one hand, and the Eagles once again expanded their lead. The Jaguars once again cut the deficit to five points, but after being intercepted by quarterback Trevor Lawrence in the end zone, the Jaguars lost for the seventh time in their ninth game of the season. The Eagles celebrated their fourth straight win and now sit at six wins and two losses.
Cowboys still can't find their way
This is the third consecutive loss for the Dallas Cowboys. The Texans lost to the Atlanta Falcons 21:27. To make matters worse, quarterback Dak Prescott is out with a hamstring injury. Running back Ezekiel Elliott was not allowed to travel to Atlanta due to disciplinary reasons.
With a Game 5 loss in Game 8, the playoffs are shaping up to be a tall order for the Cowboys. Dallas made life difficult for itself with a horrific fake kick early in the third quarter.
The Atlanta Falcons, on the other hand, are having a successful season. With their sixth win, they remain atop the NFC South. Quarterback Kirk Cousins had another strong performance. Of the 24 pass attempts, only 5 did not reach your teammates. In the second quarter, the Falcons risked everything on fourth down and tried to cover the remaining three yards. Cousins passed the ball to Darnell Mooney, who was able to run into the end zone.

I risked it all on my fourth try and was fully rewarded.
Detroit also wins with open roofs
In their eighth game of the season, the Detroit Lions played without an enclosed roof for the first time. In a 24:14 win over the Green Bay Packers, the division rivals fought in a true rain game at Lambeau Field. The game was played in harsh conditions.

Detroit Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn has virtually no name recognition.
It was Detroit's sixth consecutive success. For the Packers, quarterback Jordan Love returned from injury. The Green Bay playmaker totaled 273 yards passing but no touchdowns. The only interception Love threw was quickly returned by Detroit for six points.
With seven wins and one loss so far, the Lions have solidified their spot at the top of the NFC North, a team from Detroit with one more win than the Minnesota Vikings and Packers.
Vikings return to victory
In Sunday night's game, the Minnesota Vikings defeated the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night. After two straight losses, Minneapolis celebrated its sixth win of the season. At halftime, the Colts led 7-0 thanks to a fumble in the Vikings end zone. In the first half, all three shots missed. Minnesota failed twice and the Colts failed once.
Minnesota quarterback Sam Darnold was especially able to turn up the heat after halftime, throwing three more touchdown passes. The decision came on Darnold's touchdown pass to Josh Oliver with two minutes left in the game.
Indianapolis has Joe Flacco at quarterback this week. Flacco replaced Anthony Richardson, who had replaced himself in the previous game due to fatigue. The Colts currently have a record of four wins and five losses and are second in the AFC South behind the Houston Texans.
Lamar Jackson continues to give
Quarterback Lamar Jackson is still in great shape. Jackson threw for 280 yards and three touchdown passes in the Baltimore Ravens' 41-10 victory over the Denver Broncos. The Ravens playmaker has a passer rating of 158.3. This is the highest value a quarterback can achieve.
Running back Derrick Henry ran for over 100 yards and reached the end zone twice. Henry continues to score at least one touchdown in every game this season. Wide receiver Zay Flowers also scored two touchdowns. The Baltimore-based team is coming off an impressive return to victory after a tough loss to the Cleveland Browns last week.
It was a memorable afternoon for the Denver Broncos. Quarterback Bo Nix's first pass was intercepted by the Ravens defense. Baltimore celebrated its sixth win in its last seven games. For the Broncos, it was their fourth loss in nine games of the season.
Win with the team's longest field goal
Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass scores a 61-yard field goal to beat the Miami Dolphins. With five seconds left, Bass knocked the ball between the posts. It was the longest field goal in Buffalo Bills history.
The Miami Dolphins had a great performance against the Bills, but it didn't pay off. Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw for two touchdowns and found teammates on 25 of 28 pass attempts. On the other side, Josh Allen threw for three touchdowns and played a big role in the Bills' victory. Buffalo currently leads the AFC East. It's hard enough for Miami to make the playoffs right now.
You can do it when you are young
Bryce Young, the No. 1 pick in the 2023 draft, celebrated his first win of the season as a starter. The Carolina Panthers defeated the New Orleans Saints 23:22. Young started for the injured Andy Dalton. He scored a touchdown but also had an interception.
The Panthers took the lead on running back Chuba Hubbard's second touchdown with just over two minutes left in the game. The Saints were unable to respond then and the Panthers celebrated their second win of the season. It was New Orleans' seventh straight loss after two dominant wins to start the season.
BONUS: Jason Kelce destroys a spectator’s phone
Former NFL player Jason Kelce was on hand as ESPN's television pundit for Saturday's college game between Penn State and Ohio State. As Kelce walked to the set, an audience member asked him:
“What's it like to have a gay brother because you date Taylor Swift?”
The background to this incident is that Jason's brother Travis Kelce is dating music superstar Taylor Swift. Jason Kelce then turned on the bully, grabbed the phone from his hand and threw it to the floor.
