RoboCop Rogue City Switch cancelled

Nacon has apparently cancelled plans for a Switch version of RoboCop: Rogue City.

On the official Facebook page, one fan asked about the status of the game for Nintendo’s platform. Stated in response was the following: “At this moment, we don’t have any plans for a Nintendo Switch release.”

The wording is a bit strange as the comment doesn’t include the word “cancelled”. However, it seems pretty clear that RoboCop: Rogue City won’t be on Switch – unless there was some sort of misunderstanding. The only other hope you could have is if Nacon decides to reverse course later.

RoboCop: Rogue City was originally announced in July 2022. With that initial teaser trailer, you may recall that a Switch logo was included at the end of the video confirming plans for the platform. Ever since then though, the logo hasn’t been included in subsequent trailers, and now Nacon has apparently abandoned any plans entirely for a Switch release.

RoboCop: Rogue City will be launching on November 2, 2023. If you do want to play it, you’ll need to pick it up for PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X/S.
