It's been a good start to the week for Rocky since the shooting of former friend and accuser A$AP Reilly was postponed Tuesday so he could perform at a benefit concert in Thailand.
A Los Angeles judge asked Rihanna to appear in criminal court in support of her boyfriend.
“She can come if she wants,” Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mark Arnold told Rocky's attorney, Joe Tacobina, in a hearing that delayed the trial – for the third time – until January.
Without using Rihanna's name, the judge asked Tacobina if the 'mother of (Rocky's) two children' would attend the trial, which is expected to last between seven and 10 days.
Dacopina said he didn't know if he would be in court, but added that while he might be there at the beginning, he probably won't be there for the entire trial.

Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Meyers, should not expect star treatment at his trial, Judge Arnold told Deputy District Attorney Paul Brezlomyk, a defense attorney and prosecutor.
“The fact that Mr. Meyers is a celebrity makes no difference in this court,” he said.
“He will be treated like everyone else.”
Rocky's trial dates were from November 12 to January 21, allowing the prosecution and defense to exchange witness lists and gather investigative evidence.
The judge reluctantly granted the extension Tuesday, noting that the trial had already been postponed twice.

The rapper and singer share two children, Riza and Riad.
But he warned both attorneys that he would not tolerate any further delays, saying, “I want jury selection to begin on January 21.”
Rocky, who was not present in court in downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault with a semi-automatic rifle. Both crimes are punishable by up to eight years in prison.
The charges stem from an altercation in Hollywood in November 2021 between Rocky and fellow rapper Terrell Efron, who goes by the stage name A$AP Reilly and was a member of the mafia rap group ASAP that began in Harlem in 2006 with Rocky .
