Capcom has updated its list of Platinum Titles (i.e. million sellers), revealing new sales figures for several of its titles as of September 30, and the Resident Evil franchise is, to no one’s surprise, continuing to post strong numbers.

Resident Evil Village’s worldwide lifetime sales now stand at 8.7 million units, up from 8.3 million units earlier this year, having sold roughly 400,000 copies over the course of the previous quarter (July-September). Meanwhile, Resident Evil 7 is continuing to move units over six years on from its release as well. It currently stands at 12.7 million units worldwide, having sold an additional 300,000 copies during the previous quarter.

Meanwhile, as previously confirmed, 2019’s Resident Evil 2 remake hasn’t dropped too much momentum either, currently standing at 13.1 million units sold, while 2020’s Resident Evil 3 remake has hit 8 million. Resident Evil 4’s remake, which launched earlier this year, has sold 5.45 million units.
