Mob Entertainment has finally started revealing new information regarding the upcoming fourth chapter of its hit indie game Poppy fun. The fourth chapter of this popular survival horror game continues the story of the previous chapters as the player discovers terrifying secrets about the Playtime Co. factory. his dark history of treatment and experimentation on orphans. This new chapter will introduce brand new enemies and allies, expand the lore to uncover more of the truth about the factory, and challenge players with new puzzles that will require them to be extremely careful.
This chapter will continue from Where Poppy Playtime Chapter 3 abandoned with a terrifying cliffhanger ending. After dealing with the terrifying creature known as Catnap, Kissy Missy helps Poppy and the player prepare to take the elevator deep into the factory. Unfortunately, Kissy Missy is attacked by an unknown creature and the duo fails to save her in time. Now they must face the terrifying challenges that lie ahead together.

Although no specific date has been announced yet, Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 Is January 2025 release date confirmed on Steam, which means it will arrive just after the holiday season. The release of the latest chapter is very exciting as the makers have stated that it will be the darkest chapter Poppy fun so far, providing an exciting continuation of the gripping story with plenty of terrifying images and narrative events.

Something terrifying lurks in the depths of Playtime Co.
Teaser for Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 shows the terrifying state of the deeper levels of the factory that the player and Poppy will soon find themselves in. The film shows the factory's vast halls, its floors littered with boxes and covered with dirt and blood. The most disturbing image in the aforementioned trailer is the final shot showing giant mounds of torn toys who, as revealed in previous chapters, were once children turned into stuffed animals, which added to the horror of the situation.
The few toys that roam the halls are clearly dirty and unkempt, behaving in incredibly savage ways as they brutally attack and eat each other. It seems that the transformed children trapped in the lower levels of the factory have completely lost their sense of humanity after they were turned into toys and have since resorted to tearing each other apart while giving in to darker thoughts. It is clear that as players explore, they will come face to face with these wild toys and must avoid a similar, terrifying fate.
Chapter 4 of Poppy Playtime will introduce new monsters
Mob Entertainment Reveals Baba's Chops
In addition to familiar faces from previous chapters, Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 revealed several new monsters that players will encounter throughout the story. The teaser trailer shows a little black sheep attacking a defenseless DogDaytearing it to pieces before looking directly at the viewer with a disturbing smile as he found himself surrounded by the scattered corpses of various other toys. While the Steam page mentions the possibility of players gaining brand new allies, this sheep apparently won't be one of them.
After the trailer was released, photos were uploaded to X (formerly Twitter) by Mafia Entertainment, revealing more information about this new monster, including its name and personality. The sheep is simply known as Baba Chops and she is a member of a new group of toys known as the Nightmare Critters. Although she seems to prefer to be isolated from others, the trailer clearly shows that she is not afraid to attack if provoked.
Baba Chops isn't the only new creature players will have to watch out for, as Mob Entertainment describes her as having “very persistent friends“. Each day, more members of the Nightmare Critters are revealed, and each brings their own unique personality and unsettling appearance to the table. It's only a matter of time before a whole new cast of characters and what they're capable of. was ultimately revealed, but it's clear from just this brief look at Baba Chops that all will be extremely disturbing and dangerous.

As in previous chapters of the game, Poppy Playtime Chapter 4 contains numerous puzzles designed to challenge the player as they explore the factory to discover answers to its secrets. According to the Game Para website, these puzzles are described as “mind bending”, where one wrong move can mean the difference between life and death. It is both an intriguing challenge and a stressful experience that players will surely remember.
