5 Palworld Features That Should Be Added To Future Pokemon Games

Palworld is way more than a Pokemon clone, but some of the survival game’s features would be great additions to Game Freak’s franchise.

Since Palworld’s release, Pals have been compared frequently to Pokemon, with many Pals being compared to specific Pokemon. With many Pals appearing similar to Pokemon, it’s easy to see how these Pokemon could fit within Palworld.

9 Flamigo

Flying/Fighting Type

Flamigo is a generation 10 Pokemon based on the flamingo. Flamigo sports a bright pink appearance that is near identical to the animal. With various animals such as sheep, deer, birds, and boars featuring as Pals, Flamigo would be an exotic addition to Palworld. Flamigo could fit into Palworld by appearing in hot weather areas near lakes, a perfect habitat for a flamingo.

In Pokemon, Flamigo has a dual typing of Flying and Fighting, although, in Palworld, neither of those types exist. In Palworld, Flamigo would be categorized as a Neutral type, fitting into the typing seamlessly.

8 Cufant

Steel Type

Despite the lack of Steel types in Palworld, Cufant would be the ideal Pokemon to fit into the game. Cufant’s design heavily resembles an elephant, specifically a young calf. Cufant appears similar to Pals such as Mammorest, who belong to the same animal family. With Steel types not featured in Palworld, Cufant would be placed under another typing, with Ground being an ideal alternative.

Due to its original Steel typing and prospective Ground typing, Cufant’s spawn location would likely be near mining ores around the map, perfectly encapsulating Cufant’s habitat.

7 Rowlet

Grass/Flying Type

In modern Pokemon games, Rowlet has emerged as a fan favorite among the recent generations. Introduced in Generation 7, Rowlet has become popular due to its cute and cozy owl design. Another factor in Rowlet’s popularity is that it is one of the three starter Pokemon available in Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Rowlet can effortlessly fit into Palworld due to its unique design. However, Rowlet’s typing would need to be adjusted to either a Grass or Neutral type due to Flying types not being included in Palworld.

6 Noivern

Flying/Dragon Type

Hailing from Pokemon X and Y, Noivern is a Flying and Dragon type Pokemon that is among the most popular from Generation 6. Noivern’s appearance resembles a bat, which makes it a perfect choice to be featured in Palworld, with the Pokemon’s bat-like features making it ideal to be added to the list of Pals that are only available at nighttime.

With Flying types not appearing in Palworld, Noivern can be converted solely to a Dragon type. However, with its design depicting a bat, Noivern could be adapted to a dual Dark and Dragon typing quite easily.

5 Zoroark

Dark Type

The fox Pokemon Zoroark is known to be a strong and popular Pokemon that debuted in Pokemon Black and White. With many Pals spawning at night due to their dark esthetics, Pokemon such as Zoroark, which encapsulate darkness, would fit perfectly into Palworld’s open-world system.

As Dark types are still relevant in Palworld, Zoroark’s typing would not need to be adjusted to a new type. Due to Zoroark being a strong offense-based Pokemon, it could be used as an offensive Pal when battling challenging bosses, Alpha Pals, or when clearing a dungeon.

4 Aipom

Normal Type

Although Palworld utilizes monkey Pals such as Tanzee, a monkey Pokemon like Aipom could easily pass as a Pal. Being a Normal type, Aipom is a Pokemon known more for its appearance and style than for its battling abilities. Aipom’s behavior and attitude make it a Pokemon that would excel in Palworld due to its ability to access or gather resources through its monkey traits.

Aipom could be a helpful Pal when stationed in a base, with cutting down trees and gaining wood being its primary function when utilized.

3 Ampharos

Electric Type

The Electric-type Pokemon Ampharos is one of the many Pokemon from the Johto region that could be a Pal in Palworld. Despite the Pal Relaxaurus Lux appearing similar to Ampharos, the Pokemon would be an ideal mid-game Pal to use in battle, with Electric-type Pals being more scarce than other types.

Besides Ampharos being a formidable force in battle due to its thunderous attacks, becasue of its Electric typing, Ampharos could be a helpful addition in powering bases using electricity.

2 Sableye

Dark/Ghost Type

Although Sableye may not be the most popular Pokemon from Generation 3, it would be an ideal Dark type that could fit into Palworld. Sableye’s haunting appearance, jeweled eyes, and unusual stance make the Pokemon ideal for appearing in specific locations during the nighttime. As Sableye is often found in caves in Pokemon, Sableye could be seen in dungeons alongside Pals such as Mau, who shares Sableye’s aura and themes of darkness.

Despite the ominous vibes, Sableye fits the billing of being a handy helper that can aid the development of a base, making it a potentially valuable Pal.

1 Squirtle

Water Type

Squirtle from Pokemon potentially fitting in Palworld

As one of the first three starters in Pokemon history, Squirtle has become one of the faces of the franchise alongside Pikachu, Bulbasaur, and Charmander in both the games and the anime. The thought of Squirtle appearing in Palworld may be unusual for many, but the water turtle would be able to fit seamlessly into the game, especially if integrated as a Pal found in early areas.

The lack of water types early on in starting areas would make these the best areas to integrate Squirtle. As a captured pal, the sheer presence of Squirtle at a player’s base would make the atmosphere more joyful and friendly.
