As we get closer to the holidays, Nintendo has been slowly releasing more bundles for games, with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet being the latest. Today, The Pokémon Company announced that it will begin to sell bundled versions of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet with the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC for release on Nov. 3.

The Pokémon Company made the announcement on Twitter, stating that the bundle will be available in just over a month. With the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC launching this month, this bundle will provide an expanded adventure over the base game. That being said, it doesn’t include the upcoming DLC, The Indigo Disk, so players will still need to purchase that when it releases this winter.

Many were quick to comment on this under the official announcement, stating that it’s an incomplete bundle that will cost more to finish the first DLC’s story. It seems unlikely that the developer would release two new bundles that include the base game and the two DLCs for each version of the title. However, it could happen if these bundles prove successful.

Players who already have the game can purchase the Season Pass, likely for cheaper, and get Hidden Treasure now and The Indigo Disk when it launches. They can also be bough separately, which is what owners of this bundle will have to do later this year.
