Payday 3 unable to redeem code – ‘User content blocked’ message

Payday 3 is finally here however some gamers are having issues redeeming their codes on PS5. There are reports on Reddit that some gamers are not able to redeem their preorder codes – which we are currently investigating.

Despite the game getting rave reviews, including a very respectable 8/10 in our Payday 3 review, Starbreeze’s heist sim has once again been hit with errors and server issues, this time for the wider launch of the game. Some users are reporting they are getting a “Product already owned” message. One user wrote: “I played beta and am also unable to remove the licensing from my https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/ page unfortunately there’s just no option to.”

There are also reports some users are struggling to install the game via the PS app. One gamer wrote on Reddit: “I know that the game has already launched and it even says I own the game, but I can’t install it, this is all I see. Also, it also says that there I own a different version of the game. Will I be able to download it when I get home? I heard there are issues with the ps5 version but nothing about installing it.”

There is also a “User Content Blocked” message that some Payday fans on Reddit are seeing if they’re trying to get into the game on PC. It appears to blocking the username on PC, which could be relared to the Product Already Owned issue some PS5 users are seeing.

Are there any potential fixes?
