Kansas City Chiefs Superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes was at Coffman Stadium on Wednesday night to watch the New York Yankees play the Kansas City Royals in Game 3 of the American League Division Series.
And when his team was tied 2-2 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Mahomes went berserk in his suit until he started screaming in the face of a former teammate dressed in Yankees gear.

New York Ten had the lead first, but the Royals got the crowd going with two outs in the fifth inning when Kyle Isbell singled and a diving double hit a double off Juan Soto's glove to tie the game.
As the crowd went wild, Mahomes jumped into his box and ran over to his former teammate, winger Gehrig Dieter, to rub him in the face. Dieter responded by creating a false fighting position.

Dieter was wearing a Yankees cap and shirt, and a TBS news report noted that he was named after New York legend Lou Gehrig, whose No. 4 was retired by the franchise.
Mahomes is fresh off his fifth straight win and opens the 2024 campaign by defeating the New Orleans Saints to remain undefeated.
Baseball plays a big role in Mahomes' life. His father, Pat Mahomes, played 11 seasons in the MLB for six different teams from 1992-2003.
The younger Mahomes played college baseball while starring on the Texas Tech football team.
In June 2020, Mahomes purchased a stake in the Royals, becoming the youngest stock owner in sports history at the age of 24.
