With Dragon’s Dogma 2 earlier this year, Capcom started pricing its games at $70, though the company is still set to release a couple of notable upcoming titles at lower prices, with Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess and the recently-announced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster both set to be priced at $50. In a recent interview with Automaton Media, producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi touched on the game’s price, saying that in spite of its lower price, Kunitsu-Gami isn’t going to be lacking in content.
As per Hirabayashi, the game’s main story is going to be “no less than 20 hours” in length, while the game will also offer additional missions and challenges for players to track down outside of the main story, which means you can stretch your playtime even higher.
“It will take no less than 20 hours just to clear the story,” he said. “Then, of course, there will also be missions and challenges to clear after completing the story, so I think the volume of the game is comparable to that of a full priced title.”
Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess launches for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on July 19. It will also be available via Game Pass day and date upon release. A demo of the game is available on all platforms.
