The newest update to Palworld addresses a major glitch players have been exploiting within the game, allowing players to repeatedly butcher the same Pal for more rewards. Throughout the sprawling open world of the monster-catching survival game, there are a variety of in-game resources for fans to acquire for their in-game base. The game’s expansive crafting system allows players to create plenty of helpful in-game resources, ranging from Palworld‘s Pal Spheres to new weapons and tools. Now, the game is addressing a major bug revolving around farming its rarest items.

Acquiring legendary schematics within Palworld gives players the chance to craft some of the most powerful items in the game. Players are normally only able to find legendary schematics through a rare drop in chests or by defeating rare Pals within the game. Players can also acquire legendary schematics by butchering their own Pals to acquire their resources, with Lucky and Alpha Pals offering greater chances to find the rare loot. Now, a common exploit for farming legendary schematics has been patched out with Palworld‘s newest update.

Palworld Update Fixes Pal Butchering Glitch

The glitch’s removal saw mixed reactions from fans who had used the exploit themselves and those who had not. Many lamented the loss of the exploit as they had been farming schematics for rare items like Pal Metal Armor and Palworld‘s Rocket Launcher. Others were satisfied with the removal of the glitch, feeling that the butchering exploit allowed players to acquire powerful items too easily. Some fans even expressed their own mistakes with the glitch, accidentally butchering rare Pals like Kingpaca while trying to use the exploit.
