Palworld players have been given some promises as to what’s in store for them from the developers. Everyone is keenly aware of the narrative surrounding this game: that it’s either a Pokémon or ARK: Survival knockoff and that it will be dead within months. The game’s detractors haven’t even given it that long of a timeline, either. However, the developers have promised that that will not happen and that the future is very bright. The community is more than pleased to hear that.
Palworld players are thrilled with what the developers have said
Palworld has been out nearly a month, a fact remarked upon by the developers who sought to ease the concerns of the community. Some games come and go, and the players were desperate for some news that that would not be the case this time around. Players can rest assured, the developing team isn’t going to let it go down without a fight. That’s music to many players’ ears.
u/SeriousQuestions put it simply on the subreddit thread, “These devs are awesome.” 7.4 thousand people upvoted, so they tend to agree on that simple but effective statement. Another player by the name of u/kefefs_V2 added some much-needed context to the entire debate, “I found those articles lazy as f**k too. They’re clickbait at its finest. It’s a brand new early access game… of course the player count is gonna drop off after people have played through the available content, then it’s gonna spike with subsequent updates, and fall off in between. That’s how this works.”
u/Usr_115 believes PocketPair could be trying to do something rather unprecedented, “That’s the most wholesome Dev post I’ve ever read. It really seems like they’re trying to embrace gaming as a whole.” u/TommyPastrami98 believes this should be how all developers act, even though it sadly is not.
Another user, u/CashewsAreGr8 added even more context to the player count falling, “Player counts dropped 1 month after release for an early access game that has limited content with a set ‘endpoint’ and no repeatable endgame loop currently in place? The fact that ‘journalists’ consider that newsworthy isn’t the least bit shocking.”
Several others ripped the coverage of the supposedly dying (when in fact it isn’t) game and praised the developers for sticking to a game they believe has something special. The game is still in early access and is making an impact, and the developers do not plan to abandon that any time soon. The community loves to see that.
That’s all for how pleased Palworld players are with the developers, but be sure to check out a potential deal for Xbox and PocketPair, the unreal amount of time players have played this game, and what the Palworld CEO said.
