Overwatch 2 has been divisive since its launch back in October 2022. However, despite all of the backlash and criticism, the multiplayer IP still remains popular and has been continually supported by Blizzard with some fantastic skins. We are currently in season 8 which has some new offerings, but one of the best skins came from season 7 with the Ghostly Bride outfit for fan-favorite Widowmaker. There are many fans who love the Halloween outfit, and this Overwatch 2 Widowmaker Ghostly Bride cosplay is simply spellbinding.

As mentioned, we are currently in the eighth season of OW2. Make sure to grab the Overwatch 2 Season 8 skins before it’s too late. Some of these fetching outfits include Huntress Junker Queen, Grafiteiro Lucio, Bonesplinter Mauga, and Grand Beast Orisa as the Legendary tier 80 reward. Meanwhile, if you’ve never played OW2 before, then there’s no better time to jump in than the present as the game is free-to-play with in-game purchases entirely optional.

While Blizzard always offers great cosmetics, the best skins truly come around summer and the holiday seasons. Last year’s Christmas outfits were a delight, but Halloween was truly the best spectacle for costumes as demonstrated by this bewitching Widowmaker Ghostly Bride cosplay.

Overwatch 2 Widowmaker Ghostly Bride skin cosplay

There are dozens of Overwatch 2 Widowmaker cosplays all over the internet, but there are few dedicated to the assassin’s Ghostly Bride skin. This is primarily because the outfit is so recent as it only came out in October 2023 as part of Blizzard’s season 7 featuring outfits inspired by Halloween. Lilith from Diablo 4 was the big headliner, but the best skin was arguably Ghostly Bride Widowmaker. And this bewitching cosplay from Nebubecca is a wonderful portrayal of the gothic outfit.

Dubbed by some as just Ghost Bride or Corpse Bride, this wonderful cosplay managed to capture the gothic nature of the skin. The purple skin is paler than usual for the beloved assassin, and there are terrifying streaks of black makeup around the eyes. The pale white hair is a long mountain of locks decorated with light purple and white flowers that almost perfectly resemble the complexity of Blizzard’s design.

Then there’s the main outfit of the gothic wedding dress complemented by thigh-high stockings. Although there are a couple of gizmos missing from the game, the cosplay gets the most important detail which is the belt of purple and white flowers adorned by skeleton hands and a yellow skull at the front. It’s absolutely bewitching, and it’s easily one of Blizzard’s best Overwatch Halloween skins ever. Naturally, the comments are full of praise with people remarking that it’s ‘amazing,’ ‘gorgeous,’ and ‘so pretty’. You can find even more excellent Overwatch 2 cosplays on nebulouslybecca‘s TikTok where she excels as normal Widowmaker and perfectly portrays D.Va.

For more cosplays, this beloved and famous Fortnite Ruby cosplay still remains one of the best real-life skins. There’s an amazing Tomb Raider cosplay depicting Lara Croft’s dark and gritty 2013 reboot, and there’s an insane Abby cosplay that has the dream physique for HBO season 2.
