Today Bandai Namco officially revealed the first character coming with the fifth character pack for its veteran Musou-style game One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4.

We pretty much knew the new character was Uta from One Piece: Film Red since her unmistakable silhouette was revealed when Bandai Namco announced that it would resume releasing DLC characters for the game.

Yet, today we get the official confirmation and we get to see her in action.

The 5th Character Pass doesn’t yet have a release date (or even a window), and we don’t know the other two characters that will be included. Interestingly, the DLC will also include seven music tracks from One Piece: Film Red that will play during gameplay.

Yet, we know that there will also be a 6th DLC, and according to the silhouette that has already been published, it seems that it may include Gol D. Roger, with the remaining two characters remaining completely mysterious for now.

Below you can check out the trailer revealing Uta.

We also get a more generic trailer re-introducing the game including the new DLC, also showing another glimpse at Uta.

The previous DLC, released in September, included Gear 5 Luffy, Yamato, and Hybrid Kaido.

Bandai Namco has just recently restarted publishing DLC for the game after a long hiatus. One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 was originally released all the way back in 2020 and it’s available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. If you so wish, you can purchase a copy on Amazon.

The publisher loves releasing DLC long after the launch of its games, especially for its anime-inspired games, which apparently have a long sales tail. It happened with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions.
