The current Fortnite season has a Greek mythology theme, which turned out to be a great choice. It brought several iconic places, such as the Underworld and Mount Olympus, while also adding popular characters like Zeus and Hades. Kratos, the protagonist of God of War, is another important character in this mythology, and according to leaks, he may return soon.
The first few God of War games all had a Greek mythology theme, which is why adding Kratos back makes a lot of sense. However, this character’s Fortnite skin has a different model that was used in newer games. More specifically, it has a Norse mythology model, which shows older Kratos. We are, however, hoping that Epic Games will release the other version that was used in older games.
According to Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, Kratos will return to the Item Shop soon. In addition to the skin, Kratos’ accessories will also come, including his pickaxe. However, the leaker did not reveal when this rare Fortnite skin will return. Considering that the current Fortnite season is scheduled to end on May 24, Kratos will likely return in the next two months.
What makes Kratos one of the rarest Fortnite skins is the last date of his Item Shop appearance. The gaming legend was last seen on March 19, 2021. In other words, the last time we saw Kratos in Fortnite’s Item Shop was during Chapter 2 Season 6. Epic Games recently updated his Item Shop section, nearly confirming his unvaulting. However, considering that the release date hasn’t been leaked, we may have to wait for a few more weeks.
