BioWare has released a new teaser for the next Mass Effect, following multiple reveals via its initial N7 Day blog post. It showcases an unknown character wearing a helmet and coat with the N7 logos, who pauses to look back. They then take out a sidearm and venture outside to what seems to be a waiting ship.
This is potentially the new protagonist, and BioWare added further fuel to the fire with its new poster. It showcases the character’s appearance but also reveals what seems to be a nightclub. Further zooming in, one can discern other races like a Salarian, an Asari, a Geth wearing clothes and what could be an Angara (last seen in Mass Effect: Andromeda).
The implication is that the game is set far into the future, though BioWare has yet to confirm anything. Its last update revealed that the next title is still in pre-production, while rumors claim that it won’t be open-world and instead adhere to the format of older titles. Stay tuned in the meantime for further updates.
From our crew to yours, happy #N7Day 💫
