The next few weeks will be very exciting for Fortnite players. The first season of Chapter 5 is coming to an end, and many players are excited to see what’s waiting for them in Season 2. According to a reputable leaker, Epic Games has prepared a surprise for players. More specifically, it appears that another Fortnite event is around the corner, and it will be used to introduce the community to the next season.
The last event was The Big Bang, which served as an introduction to Chapter 5. With Chapter 5 Season 1 ending in early March, it’s no surprise that the next event might happen soon. However, this also means that many free Fortnite skins will expire in less than a month, which is why you should obtain them as soon as possible.
The next Fortnite event might be around the corner
Hypex, the most popular Fortnite leaker, believes that earthquakes will soon start happening in the game. Considering that Fortnite has had similar events in the past, this doesn’t come as a surprise. However, the leaker hasn’t revealed more information, which is why we’ll have to wait and see what happens. As we are only four weeks away from Season 2, this event may begin within a few days.
Epic Games will likely release the v28.30 update around February 20, so this could be the date the event starts. However, it’s important to note that this will not be a live event. Instead, earthquakes will periodically occur on the island, leading up to the next season. The most recent earthquake event happened in Chapter 4 and was used to introduce the jungle to the game.
The Fortnite community has an interesting theory regarding the upcoming event. There has been speculation that the next Battle Pass will bring many characters from Greek mythology and that the map will also have a couple of mythology-themed places. Due to this, many players believe that the earthquakes will eventually reveal Mount Olympus, home of the Olympian gods.
Epic Games has not revealed any information about the potential event yet. However, the next major update in Fortnite may include event files, and if this happens, it would be a strong indication of an upcoming event.
