Romain Josi's Nashville Predators have yet to keep pace, losing for the ninth time and sitting at the bottom of the Western Conference. Kevin Fiala also had an unfortunate night for the Los Angeles Kings.

Colorado-Nashville 3:2 nV

Roman Josi 1 assist, 3 shots, 2 blocks, 26:42 TOI

The Predators' last game, a 4-0 win over the Utah Hockey Club, was supposed to be the start of a comeback for the Predators after a slow start to the season. But Tuesday night, Nashville suffered its next setback for a team that had been rated highly early in the season. In Colorado, the team lost 2-3 in overtime. It was the sixth loss in the past eight games and the fourth straight loss on foreign ice.

The decision was taken in favor of the home team in the third minute of extra time. The Predators had previously squandered an early lead at midfield and tied the game early in the final period. Roman Josi's assist in the 2-2 win was the Predators captain's tenth of the season, and he has logged more minutes than any other player on the team in just under 27 minutes time.

Calgary-Los Angeles 3:1

Kevin Fiala made 3 shots, 1 block, 16:27 TOI

The Los Angeles Kings are in better shape. Kevin Fiala's team also had to leave the ice as losers after recording three wins in their last four games. The score against the Calgary Flames is 1:3.

Guests from the Sunshine State can hope to score points shortly before the final siren sounds. 20 seconds before the end, Kevin Rooney's goal decided the outcome of the game. Fiala was held scoreless for the third consecutive time and was minus-1.

Pittsburgh-Dallas 1:7

The Dallas Stars defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins 7-1. In the first third of the game, the Stars scored six goals on just twelve shots.

The man of the match was Mason Marchment. Dallas United scored a goal of their own and were able to score four more. People like Joel Blomqvist have short workdays. Just ten minutes later and three goals later, the Pittsburgh goalie had to leave the ice again.

Buffalo-Montreal 5:7

The Montreal Canadiens also scored 7 goals. Team Canada defeated the Buffalo Sabers 7-5.

With 10 minutes left, the Sabers still led 5-4. But with some late fireworks, Montreal got its first win after six straight losses. (Ritz/SDA)
