DPS is king in World of Warcraft, and with the third season of Mythic+ underway, players are going to want to bring the best DPS they can in WoW, which we’re going to cover below.
WoW Dragonflight: Mythic+ DPS Tier List
Mythic+ is one of the end-game pillars of World of Warcraft, and it has been since it was introduced back in Legion, over seven years ago.
The mode offers a chance to compete for the best times in certain dungeons, and more often than not, Blizzard will rotate eight dungeons from previous expansions back into the mix for players to test out.
However, the composition of the five players you’re going to bring into each of these dungeons is vital, and with so many DPS specs in World of Warcraft at the time, there are some that are simply better than others.

Below is a snapshot of where the overall DPS tier list for Mythic+ is at the time being, but you’re also going to want to consider other aspects, such as which characters bring Lust, and so on.
S Tier | Augmentation Evoker, Havoc Demon Hunter, Balance Druid |
A Tier | Fire Mage, Frost Mage, Enhancement Shamen, Subtlety Rogue, Outlaw Rogue, Beast Mastery Hunter |
B Tier | Demonology Warlock, Assassination Rogue, Devastation Evoker, Arcane Mage, Marksmanship Hunter, Unholy Death Knight, Fury Warrior, Retribution Paladin |
C Tier | Survival Hunter, Feral Druid, Windwalker Monk, Affliction Warlock, Elemental Shamen |
D Tier | Arms Warrior, Destruction Warlock, Frost Death Knight, Shadow Preist |
Diving into a bit of an explainer regarding some of the top classes in the game at the current meta, a Mythic+ group isn’t complete, it feels like without an Augmentation Evoker right now.
While the class has received significant nerfs in the previous weeks leading up to Season 3, the class still provides exceptional utility alongside ridiculous buffs to other party members.
Furthermore, Havoc Demon Hunter and Balance Druid are at the top of our list simply due to their survivability and the vast AoE damage output they can muster in a group.
Other notable classes on the list include the vast fall-off that we’ve seen with some ranged specs, primarily Warlocks. They’ve also received numerous nerfs to their class-trees that make them somewhat of a hindrance in Mythic+.
Classes such as Evoker, Shamen, Hunter, and Mages all offer Lust, which is a highly sought-after ability in Mythic+, as it’s pretty much a necessity in certain scenarios.
Be careful of this list, however, as it won’t matter too much what you bring into a dungeon in lower-level keys, but once you move past the 16 mark, it’ll become vastly important.
