Bandai Namco has announced the start of My Hero Ultra Rumble Season 2, and the free-to-play battle royale brawler is getting a ton of new content.

First up, a new hero, Endeavor, has been added. As you’ll know if you’re a fan of the anime or the manga, he’s a pretty big deal, jostling with All Might for the title of Number One Hero.

Endeavor is here to heat up the battlefield in My Hero Ultra Rumble Season 2.

He’s a Strike hero whose combat style looks pretty heavy and deliberate, and what’s more, he can fly, so you can command the battlefield from the air with him.

A new gameplay mode is also being added in the form of Duos, which allows twelve teams of two players apiece to battle for supremacy.

The first banner of the season will feature Endeavor, and you’ll be able to get a unique costume for him in the form of his Casual Wear, which makes him look a lot less intimidating.

All Might will also be part of that banner in his Day Off outfit, although he still looks ridiculously ripped in those clothes, as you can probably imagine.

Several Seasonal Events will also take place in My Hero Ultra Rumble Season 2, including a Mission Event to earn new costumes for Endeavor and Mr. Compress, as well as a Battle Event for Cementoss and Aizawa costumes.

A Drop Event will also be held to give you a chance to get in-game goodies like Roll Tickets and Gallery Pieces, so it’s all to play for in this season.

Naturally, the My Hero Ultra Rumble Battle Pass is also available, giving you access to unique costumes like Himiko Toga’s Camie (Heat) Disguise and Katsuki Bakugo’s U.A. Summer Uniform outfit.

My Hero Ultra Rumble is a free-to-play 24-player battle royale game set in the universe of My Hero Academia.

It was released back in September after an open beta was held on the PlayStation 4, and it’s available for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch right now.
