My Hero Academia fans (at least here in the west) have been trashing the series finale since it released earlier this week.
CAUTION: SPOILERS AHEAD
The biggest complaint with the final chapter of My Hero Academia stems from how Deku loses his quirk and after a time-skip ends up working as a teacher at UA. In order to help him out, his hero friends from the school supply him with a suit which will allow him to fight crime, even without a quirk.
Fans have been making memes about Deku’s life post time-skip, imagining him as a typical employee (usually fast food) in order to contrast with his previous heroic lifestyle. At least one fan dug a bit deeper, claiming that Deku’s ending completely undermines any character growth he may have had mentally and emotionally.

Of course some fans are defending the ending, saying that Midoriya’s choice to be satisfied with a quirkless life and stable job represents his humility and maturity. Early in the series, Midoriya was insecure about being quirkless and was overly defensive about, but now he seems at peace with himself.
