On Sunday, the race is held in Germany for the third consecutive year. During the Carolina Panthers-New York Giants game, a referee surprised everyone by speaking German. After retiring, Raygun started dancing for her. These stories and others were written during the tenth week of the season.
Germany causing a stir in NFL
Since 2022, at least one NFL game will be played in Germany every year. Like two years ago, this year's game will be held at the Allianz Arena in Munich. There were some special moments in the game between the Carolina Panthers and New York Giants.
Before the game started, the fans created a very special atmosphere with a huge dance. There's barely any dancing in the NFL, and the photo drew many surprised looks in the United States.

Especially when the referee announced the penalty in German, he won a lot of sympathy. The move earned Shawn Hochuli an extra round of applause from the packed stadium.
What's unique about this situation is that Shawn Hochuli's father organized a similar event in Mexico 19 years ago. At that time, Ed Hochuli called the penalty kick in Spanish.
Like father, like son.
Many German celebrities also came to Munich. For Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, there's a little extra duty before the game. He was allowed to start the game with a Carolina Panthers drum.
Manuel Neuer started.
The Carolina Panthers won the game in overtime. After the New York Giants came within 7 minutes and 17 seconds of trailing to tie the game again, Eddie Pinero sealed the deal with a field goal in overtime. It was the Panthers' third win of the season, while New York remains two wins away.
Ravens and Bengals put on a great show
The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals played an exciting game on Thursday. The Ravens won the game 35:34. The Tigers still led with 21 minutes and 14 seconds before the final quarter, but scored five touchdowns in the final quarter.
Tyran Wallace started the game in the fourth quarter with an 84-yard touchdown run for Baltimore. The Ravens then scored another touchdown via Mark Andrews.
Cincinnati responded with a 70-yard touchdown run from Ja'Marr Chase. The Bengals wide receiver totaled 11 catches, two touchdowns and 264 yards.
Jamaal Chase scored his second touchdown.
But this is not enough. The Ravens took the lead again and the Bengals followed with a touchdown. Rather than tie the game with an extra point, the visiting team opted for a “two-point conversion.” However, an attempt to decide the game with a two-point win failed, so the Ravens celebrated their seventh win of the season.
Lamar Jackson totaled 290 yards passing for the Ravens and reached the end zone four times against the defense. On the other side of the ball, Joe Burrow also had four touchdown passes and a touchdown pass for a total of 428 yards.
The two teams had a battle in early October, and the Ravens also won. After overtime, they won 41:38 in Cincinnati.
Chiefs remain undefeated thanks to ridiculous ending
After nine games, superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs still have a perfect record. However, the current Super Bowl champions had to go through a lot of shock and a certain amount of luck against the Denver Broncos. Shortly before the end of the game, the Denver Broncos failed to convert a field goal. Linebacker Leo Chenal blocked Will Lutz's kick to secure the Chiefs' 16-14 win.
Meanwhile, the Denver Broncos lead 14-3. But Kansas City revved up its engines again with six minutes left to take the lead for the first time. Kansas City is the first team since 2020 to start a season with nine wins. Four years ago, the Pittsburgh Steelers even won the first of eleven games. The Chiefs have won 15 straight games across the season. The Denver Broncos have a balanced record after ten games this season.
washington drama
The Washington Commanders had a hard-fought battle against the Pittsburgh Steelers, with Pittsburgh coming out victorious. The Steelers won the game 28:27. Penn won on a vexing foul call from Washington shortly before the end of the game. Rookie lineman Johnny Newton jumped early on the Steelers' fourth try to ensure Pittsburgh didn't have to turn the ball away.
George Pickens was the highlight of the game. Steelers wide receiver Russell Wilson caught a beautiful pass to open the scoring.
It was Pittsburgh's fourth straight win. With a record of seven wins and two losses, the Steelers' chances of advancing to the playoffs look good. For Washington, anything is possible. The team from the nation's capital also has seven wins so far. However, the commanders have suffered three defeats.
Raygun is dancing
The sports world was rocked last week. Destroyer Raygun has announced that she will be ending her career. Minnesota Vikings' Camryn Bynum took advantage of an opportunity after an interception to imitate Regan's performance in the Olympics.
The Minnesota Vikings celebrated their seventh win of the season with a 12-7 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Vikings kicker John Parker Romo made four field goals in his first NFL game.
Neither team had many exciting performances on offense. Quarterbacks are having an especially tough time. Minnesota's Sam Darnold threw three interceptions outside the end zone, and the Jaguars' Mac Jones gave up the ball to Minnesota's defense after throwing two interceptions and a fumble on the final three drives.
Detroit wins in last second
For a long time, it looked like the Houston Texans would be able to pull off a surprise win over the Detroit Lions. At halftime, the Texans led 23-7. However, Houston didn't score again in the second half. Jake Bates capped off a great comeback with a 52-yard field goal that decided the game for Detroit at the end of the game.
Jared Goff was terrible in the first three quarters. The Detroit Lions quarterback threw a total of five passes to opposing defenders. It was the first time since 2012 that a team had five interceptions and still won the game. Detroit remains atop the NFC.
Cowboys get crushed by Philly
The Dallas Cowboys suffered another serious setback. Dallas lost to the Philadelphia Eagles in 6:34. The Cowboys advanced only 146 yards in the entire game. Cooper Rush, who replaced the injured Dak Prescott, was limited to 45 yards on 23 pass attempts and lost twice.
Jalen Hurts, on the other hand, had a great day. The Eagles playmaker threw and ran for two touchdowns. It was the 23rd time Hurts had at least one passing and running touchdown in a game. This is a Philadelphia franchise record. The Eagles lead the NFC South with their five-game winning streak. For Dallas, a playoff berth looks increasingly unlikely after a sixth loss in Game 9.
Jet crashes in Arizona
The playoffs are also out of reach for the New York Jets and quarterback Aaron Rodgers. They lost to the Arizona Cardinals in 6:31. The Jets didn't score a touchdown all game. It was New York's seventh loss.
It was a great night for Kyler Murray. The Arizona Cardinals quarterback scored two touchdowns and rushed into the end zone. Only two of his 24 passes were not caught.
Arizona was briefly shocked in the second quarter when Murray was crushed by Quincy Williams. Murray described the scene like this: “From one moment to the next, I suddenly fell to the ground.”
With their sixth win of the season, the Cardinals maintained first place in the NFC West and thus remain firmly in the playoff picture.
