As with every new release, eager eyes have been waiting for the vaunted legends trailer for MLB The Show 24. News has been slow to trickle out and we had to wait until a couple days before early access for the new legends. That said, we don’t know every legend as of yet but know a general number and we’ll list all the legends we know of as of today.
A brief trailer was released on Monday highlighting new legends coming to the game. We haven’t seen a full confirmed list yet, but we’ll update this post in the future once we have a complete list of legends.
Returning Legends
With the scarce amount of trailers and news, we’ve only seen a handful of confirmed legends that are returning. The returning legends we’ve spotted so far include:

It’s probably a safe bet that we’ll see at least a couple unannounced new legends released during the game cycle. SDS typically has a couple pop up every year, so who knows what kind of surprises we might see.
On top of that, I’m sure we’ll see a beloved legend or two go away this year as well. We’ve lost some notable names over the last couple years (Ted Williams, Rogers Hornsby, Ty Cobb) so it’s entirely possible we lose other big names this year.
