Warner Bros has confirmed an issue with Mortal Kombat 1 Brutalities, which has meant they’ve been tricker than intended for players to pull off.
Finishing moves are the bread and butter of Mortal Kombat games for many years, with plenty of players not wasting any time in pulling off the Mortal Kombat 1 Fatalities. However, they’ve been finding it a little trickier to pull off the Brutalities – more sudden moves that end a match lethally. However some players are finding that even after following the instructions on the game’s move list after unlocking certain Brutalities, they’re still not activating. Turns out, the development team has found that the incorrect directions are sometimes being shown in the Move List menu. “Some players might encounter issues attempting to use an unlocked Brutality due to the incorrect inputs in the move list. ”
For the meantime, the Support site has listed the correct inputs to pull off the Brutality moves on its support list – or you can check out our Mortal Kombat 1 Brutality guide over here. NetherRealm are of course working on this issue, and have promised to fix the problem in a future update – and it’s not the only thing the team have pledged to fix.
Speaking to BBC News, creator Ed Boon has said that NetherRealm intends to fix the much maligned Switch port of the game following its criticism amongst fans earlier this week. Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, Boon said it’d “absolutely be getting an update and a number of the concerns of the issues that had come up will absolutely be addressed.” He continued: “It would have been ideal for us to have released the version that we absolutely wanted, but anything we’re finding a problem with is on our list and is going to be fixed.”
