Miranda revealed they had a 'sore heart' party after her split with her new husband.

Miranda Hart has revealed that she and her friend enjoyed a 'sour heart heart party' where they chow down on their husband during a short breakup before their wedding.

The comedian, 51, revealed in her book I Haven't Been Completely Honest With You that after her shock break-up with her new man, she was comforted by her best friend and allowed to wall off.

Miranda admits in her new book that she and the building surveyor broke up 'briefly' before realizing the depth of their feelings for each other.

Following the 'Worst' segment, the stand-up treated himself to a pity party where the duo ate crumbles with different toppings and sorted them.

He wrote: 'I followed my own advice and had a heart heart party with my friend.

The comedian, 51, revealed in her book I'm Not Being Completely Honest With You that after a shock break-up with her new man, she was comforted by her best friend and allowed to go to the wall.

'I reminded her that I was the appointed Royal Crumble Taster and that she had to go to the shops immediately and get all the crumbles and all the toppings possible so I could look at them and decide on the best combination.

'She let me have the first crumb because I missed The Boy so much, but then she started listing my successes and all the progress I'd made using the rest of the crumb.

The comedian surprised fans this week when he announced he was getting married at the age of 51, but has revealed it wasn't all an empty ride.

The star explained that despite the couple's deep feelings, they are forced to take a break and see if their circumstances will allow them to reunite.

But at the end of her new book, she confirmed the pair had reunited and 'had something to share in The Boy From Bristol. Anger and irritation did not stop him. Despite seeing some massive mid-life inflation that my inner critic didn't enjoy, the body didn't put him off!'

Miranda met her building surveyor husband when he came to fix a mold problem in their £2 million home, believing her 'hopes of finding love were very slim'.

The sitcom star revealed on the One Show on Tuesday that she married the building surveyor aged 51 this year after he proposed in Kew Gardens, west London.

The comedian has not revealed his identity in his new book I Haven't Been Completely Honest With You, referring simply to 'The Boy' or 'The Mold Man'.

The man he met when he came to fix a mold problem at his £2 million home was described as 'a great looking man with graying salt-and-pepper hair'.

The actress went into detail in her memoir about how she popped the question, explaining that her boyfriend suggested the couple go to the garden on a 'typical January day'.

He wrote: We stood on the bridge overlooking the lake as he pierced the silence as he said seriously, 'Miranda.' I turned and he got down on one knee as I did. 'Miranda…'

'I don't remember anything else because I just burst into tears and apparently said yes before he finished the sentence (worse if he had tied a shoelace…)'

She wrote emotionally: 'I never thought a traditional proposal would affect me so much.

'But someone who knew all my absurdity and brokenness was still willing to stoop down and see me and love me and stand by me for life.'

Miranda later described her husband as 'loving, loving and very funny,' before dramatically writing: 'He's not my boyfriend. He is my husband. We got married when I was fifty-one.'
