Today third-party developers shared new screenshots about two upcoming aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
We start with another look at Aerosoft’s Airbus A330, and specifically, we get to take a look at the brand-new Discover Airlines livery.
This is actually as new as they come, as Discover Airlines is the rebranded Eurowings Discover, and the rebranding just happened in September 2023. It’s certainly nice of Aerosoft to include this livery at the aircraft release.
Not that we know when it’ll be released, as this aircraft was announced a long time ago, and we still don’t have a launch date.
Next, we move on to the Sukhoi Su-27 Flanker by DC Designs. We get to see the drogue chutes that deploy automatically when the throttle is brought back to idle on landing between 100 and 40 knots.
The aircraft will have radio navigation installed, alongside other basic essentials such as transponder and comm radios. The cockpit had to be altered slightly to accommodate the equipment compared to the real jet as russian navigation standards are different.
This also means that speed will be indicated in Kmh and altitude in meters, like in the real aircraft.
Most work on the aircraft is completed, and the developer hopes to release it after Christmas break. Below you can check out the exterior view, of course with the Ukrainian livery, on top of two images of the cockpit.
Incidentally, we also hear that SC Design’s F-5E Tiger II is in testing, and any alterations required due to feedback will be made before release. This famous vintage fighter will launch soon in early 2024.
And that’s it for today. It’s rare, but Microsoft Flight Simulator does get light news days. Regardless of that, you can keep track of everything that happens with our daily news here on TechRaptor.
