Matt Smith admitted that fans are equally in the dark when it comes to Dragon House's third season when he appeared at New York Comic Con 2024 on Sunday.
The actor, 41, stars in the Game of Thrones prequel series as Daemon Targaryen, but has yet to see any scripts or hear anything about where the story will go in season three.
The second season of House of the Dragon premiered on August 4 after eight episodes.
The fantasy drama has been renewed for two more seasons, with the next installment scheduled to air in 2026, with production beginning the following year.
Over the weekend, Matt appeared on the show's panel with co-stars Fabian Frankel (Kristen Cole) and Tom Glynn-Carney (Aegon II Targaryen), where they were asked if they had seen the script for season three.

But Tom admitted: 'Not a note, not a letter. They take up so much time that we don't have to study anything for a while.'
Matt repeated, “I've never asked for skin or hair.” I don't know about you. I didn't hear anything, right?
But Fabian joked: “I heard some things I can't share here.”
In August it was revealed that the series would end after four seasons, with showrunner Ryan Condoll adding that the third season was currently in the writing process.
He said pre-production work on the series will continue this fall, with a production date planned for early next year.
The first season of the show had 10 episodes, the second season will have eight, but when asked how many episodes the third season will have, Ryan said, “I haven't discussed it with HBO.”
“From a dramatic narrative perspective, I hope the show's brevity continues from season two onwards.”
While the first season pretty much focused solely on House Targaryen, season 2 introduces other 'Little People' characters living under the rule of Winterfell, the home of House Stark, and the House of the Dragon.
