MasterChef Australia star Shannon Bennett has responded to “neglected” pets who left dog poop outside her multimillion-dollar Byron Bay mansion.
Shannon lives in a massive $2 million six-bedroom mansion with direct beach access in picturesque Belong, but it has been the target of nefarious activities.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the celebrity chef took aim at careless pet owners, particularly people who take their dogs to the beach to do yoga.
She said people don't pick up after their pets and instead leave bags of dog poop on the sidewalk outside their property.
Shannon shared a series of photos of bags of dog poop dumped near her home and on the beach.
'New in town? “A beginner in yoga?” he enthused in a publication.
'Start by bending down and picking up your dog.
He also advised pet owners to use designated facilities to dispose of harmful substances without leaving them off their property.
“Then put it in the 10 bins provided, not on my stairs,” the post continues.

Shannon, who is in a relationship with Erica Packer, pulled no punches with the posts' angry headlines and told the perpetrators in no uncertain terms to do the right thing.
“Stop being bastards and pick up the doggy bags,” he wrote.
“It's very different to throw the bag on the sand or rocks and draw a circle with your toe in the sand around the bag.”
Shannon's post struck a chord with many of her followers, who quickly expressed their agreement with Shannon on the issue.
“Well said,” offered one follower. “It's really disappointing to see how many people leave their bags of dog poop on the beach. Especially when the tide comes in.

Another offered a simpler solution when he wrote: “If you see someone drop a bag of poop, I think you'd better pick it up and throw it at them and hope it explodes on impact.”
A dog owner also supported Shannon's stance.
“I totally agree with you,” they wrote. “I can't believe the amount of dog poop bags on the beach, yes I have a dog and I am responsible for his mess.”
Belong has dog-friendly sections of beach, although it is unclear if this is the section that passes through Shannon's property.

Shannon, who shares children Phoenix, Hendricks, Kshaska, Xanthe, Calia and Marcoux with ex-partner Madeleine West, debuted his new relationship with Erica over the Christmas holidays.

“Erica is great,” Shannon told the publication.
'She is very nice and comes and goes a lot. “It’s been a fun and exciting adventure, and it’s a wonder we haven’t met before.”
