Developer Pocketpair has released update 0.1.5.0 for Palworld on Steam. It fixes a lot of bugs and problems the community has complained about, and fans are largely happy with its improvements. However, there is one fix from the update that has Palworld fans screaming ‘no’ in despair as they lament the removal of one of the easiest ways to farm gold.
You can find the full patch notes for update 0.1.5.0 online. In addition to fixing some bugs and improving some features, the update has also resulted in two new known issues that need fixing. Developer Pocketpair has acknowledged these newly introduced grievances, and they are working on rolling them back ASAP.
While fans are largely happy with all of the improvements and fixes added in the new patch, there is one fix that has left Palworld fans screaming ‘no’ like Darth Vader at the end of Revenge of the Sith. And, while the fix is understandable on the part of Pocketpair, for fans it is a tad annoying.
New Palworld update lowers the selling price of nails
The Palworld update 0.1.5.0 fix that has fans in despair is the ‘abnormally high selling price of nails’. The patch notes don’t specifically say how much the selling price of nails has been lowered, but the fact it’s been lowered at all has left some fans distraught.
Selling nails at extreme prices was one of the easiest ways to farm gold in the game. Now the community on Reddit has reacted to the patch notes screaming in disarray. One user echoed Darth Vader’s infamous ‘nooooooooo,’ while another fan said ‘Nail prices were sacrificed so base Pals could run‘.
Another fan has joked ‘I’m so glad I made my money before the great nail bubble of 2024 burst‘. As for what the new best item for selling is, some of the community say berries with one fan joking that players need to ‘start stacking before that’s fixed too’.
Although the fixing of the selling price for nails is annoying, fans are still very happy with all of the other fixes introduced in the patch. There are lots of necessary fixes and balance adjustments, along with key addresses for all pals.
In other Palworld news, a fan has found a secret unused dungeon that you can build a base inside. There is an ongoing competition for fans to win a custom Palworld Xbox console and controller, and the game has destroyed another massive milestone.
Palworld is available on Steam, along with Xbox and PC via Xbox Game Pass.
