Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 developer Insomniac Games has announced that the next massive update for the web-slinging sequel will be released in early 2024. Though specific details on the upcoming patch remain scarce at the time of writing, the development team has revealed that it will contain several highly requested features, such as the ability to change the time of day, swap tendril colors, replayable missions, and more. It could even include a New Game+ mode, but this has yet to be confirmed.
Unfortunately, a specific release date for the highly anticipated update has yet to be provided, as Insomniac Games’ official X (formerly Twitter) post only contains a vague launch window. However, it should only be a matter of time until more information is revealed as we steadily approach the new year.
