A Madden 24 statistical glitch often shows up. In this scenario, players cannot see the accurate statistics on their upcoming opponents in franchise mode. It often leaves the stats of last week’s featured player with this week’s player’s name and picture. It could have Myles Garrett with 3,568 passing yards and 27 touchdowns when that’s not remotely possible. This time, Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown turned into an elite defender, and the community wasn’t having it.
Recurring Madden 24 statistical glitch has players grumbling
In franchise mode, there’s a lot of gameplanning one can do. You can set defensive tactics and what style of offense you want to run depending on your opponent. One featured player is marked as a “Top Threat” to your win chances and their numbers are shown. This can be extremely helpful for a gameplan, but not when the numbers are incorrect.
In u/roodypoo_jabroni’s Reddit post, they had no idea how well Amon-Ra St. Brown was actually doing. The Detroit Lions star was, according to the Madden stats, playing defensive back instead of WR.
Being that this is a glitch that tons of Madden players have experienced, the community had plenty of complaints to level. One player went so far as to rip the entire industry. u/oRiskyB held nothing back, “LOL what a trash game made by a trash industry.”
u/NoSeaworthiness1143 added, “This is a common glitch I’ve seen where it shows the stats of the player from the previous week.” u/SamuraiJack- added that this glitch has been around since Madden 22, so it’s not exactly a new issue. It’s just one that EA Sports has not yet fixed.
Some users couldn’t help but laugh at the glitch. It’s, more or less, not game-breaking. It hurts the build-up to a game, but the overall rating matters a little more than their current stats. If they’re a highly-rated player, it doesn’t matter that much if they have a lot of yards. u/thebrianeno joked, ” To be fair, 40 tackles for a WR is pretty damn good.”
This is a pretty harmless glitch, but it’s one that has many members of the community tired. Presumably, it might be an easy fix. Yet, EA Sports has opted to leave it alone for Madden 22, Madden 23 and Madden 24.
That’s all for this common Madden 24 statistical glitch, but be sure to check out the latest Team of the Week set in MUT, who made it into Angry Runs, and Mix-Up Mondays!
