Franchise stories come in all forms, and I would say OS user frappuccino‘s Madden 24 Steelers franchise mode story fits into the more “traditional” box — just done right.
As of now, frappuccino is in the second season with the starting point being this 2023-2024 season. It’s a return to the mode as well as this is their first franchise in three years. I won’t spoil how the first season goes, but it’s worth following along as frappuccino does a great job sucking folks into the world being built.
I call it “traditional” as well because there’s nothing crazy going on with the starting rosters or anything, it’s just taking the game as you would at the start of this past season and trying to write your own story with your team.
As with many of the most followed franchises on the forums, there’s plenty of news recaps, highlights, stories from around the league, and other ways that help breathe needed life into a mode that can feel very isolated and empty outside of the PC modding scene or when playing in an online franchise.
Another perk here is all the settings are listed, so if you get inspired and want to dive into a franchise mode playthrough as well after reading, all the info is there in the thread for where to then search on the forums to get all the same things.
