Neowiz has released a new Lies of P update, and it’s adding some snazzy new ways to dress while you rid the streets of Krat of the puppet infestation.

New costumes have been added in the form of the Alchemist’s Hat, the Treasure Hunter’s Mask and Hunting Apparel, and the Illusory Emerald Glasses.

In addition, you can now equip Masks and Accessories together in the costume’s Hair section thanks to a new category in the Costume menu.

If you want to look damn good while you’re slaying puppets, the new Lies of P update is for you.

Other new features include a brand new “Short Grey Hair” style, which you can equip after finishing the game with any of its endings.

You can also now adjust the size of subtitles, which should hopefully make them a little bit easier to read if you’ve been having trouble.

The latest Lies of P update has also brought a number of balance changes, some of which are intended to make the game a little easier.

Some monsters have had their attack speed adjusted “to make their attack more intuitive”, for instance, while the spawn locations of certain monsters and traps have been changed “to fit better with the flow of the game”.

Some of Lies of P‘s trickier enemies should now be a little easier to beat.

The Rising Dodge ability is now a default ability, so you won’t need to spend Quartz to unlock it anymore. It’s been replaced by an ability that allows you to retain Guard Regain upon using a Pulse Cell.

Several other balance adjustments and bug fixes have also been made, so make sure to check out the full Lies of P patch notes to see if your particular issue has been fixed.

Lies of P is a Soulslike that loosely adapts the classic adventure novel The Adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi.

It sees protagonist P exploring the city of Krat and putting down its insane puppet population in order to find Geppetto, his creator (as well as the creator of many of the city’s puppets).

Developed by Neowiz, Lies of P proved popular, selling a million copies within its first month on release. DLC and a sequel for the game are both currently in the works.

Lies of P is available right now on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. You can read my review of it right here.
