A WIN FOR DEMOCRACY

Huge kudos to Federal Court Judge Richard Mosley for ruling Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was unjustified when he invoked the Emergencies Act to break up the convoy protest in Ottawa. Let’s not forget that Jagmeet Singh was onboard with Trudeau doing this.

Finally, we have a court judge slamming Trudeau for attacking freedoms guaranteed under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms that his father gave to Canada.
As when a Federal Court came out against Trudeau’s plastic ban, he will appeal. If an Emergencies Act appeal ends up in the Supreme Court, a court made up largely of Trudeau appointees, the prime minister will obviously like his chances there.
Judge Mosley’s ruling could result in many civil suits against the Trudeau government’s unjustified action.

THRILLED WITH RULING
I was thrilled to learn the Federal Court ruled that the use of the Emergencies Act was unjustified. The subsequent statement by Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland citing her disagreement was pitiful. Of course the Liberals are appealing because they can’t handle the truth.
The only reason the act was invoked was Justin Trudeau’s determination to punish Canadians for making him look like a fool. They dared stand up for themselves against his draconian, dictatorial, tyrannical mandates that threatened some of their very livelihoods.

SUPREMES TO THE RESCUE
The Supremes to the rescue, and not the excellent old Motown trio. I am writing about those nine justices on Wellington Street. The splendid decision from the Federal Court that Trudeau’s use of the Emergencies Act was unjustified will only be temporary.

Deputy PM Chrystia Freeland has announced that the Liberals will be appealing the decision — with our money, of course. There are few supreme courts in the western world that are as progressive as ours. Sadly this victory for freedom and individual rights will be short-lived.

FINALLY …
Well, finally some common sense. I applaud Federal Court Judge Richard Mosley’s ruling as it was about time that someone stood up to Justin Trudeau.
