REPLACE YOUR CAR SOON

If anyone’s vehicle is in need of replacement in the near future, I suggest they start looking ASAP. When Comrade Justin Trudeau’s requirement kicks in to sell only EV vehicles by 2035 and, starting in 2026, sell fewer gas- or diesel-powered vehicles, the price for used vehicles will skyrocket to match the prices of new vehicles today.

Used-car dealers will be making a fortune because the majority of us minions will never be able to afford an EV vehicle and repair costs and charging stations in our homes. If you’re a renter, you’d better hope your landlord allows you to install charging stations where vehicles are expected to charge overnight. The batteries of electric vehicles have an approximate lifespan of 10 years (it varies, depending on different factors); then you need a new battery at a cost in the thousands and thousands of dollars.

We can only hope and pray Pierre Poilivere gets elected and stops this insanity, otherwise we’ll be going back to the horse and buggy as our transportation, and then the Liberals regime will tax the horse s–t as another source of income.

NO CHRISTMAS TUNES
I was out shopping the last couple of weeks before Christmas and have to say I am very disappointed. There was no Christmas music playing. I asked one cashier why there was no Christmas music playing, and he replied that the company didn’t want to offend non-Christians. That’s also why they are told to say Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas.
This is appalling. Christmas is our tradition and culture and should be celebrated. Do they not realize that this offends all of us, Christian or otherwise, who just enjoy the beauty and joy of Christmas?

What total nonsense. Is this another “woke” decision? Shame on you.

OC TRANSPO? BUY A CAR
Re: “TRANSIT SPECIAL: OC Transpo announces 2-for-1 day passes, reduced hours for holiday period”, online, Dec. 21
Just what we over-charged, under-served Ottawa residents needed: “reduced hours for the holiday period.” How would we be able to tell? It must have been a Herculean challenge to reduce service even more, but I’m sure OC Transpo rose to the occasion.
Ottawa’s public transit is the finest argument for car ownership in Canada.
