CALL IT A DAY, JAGMEET

Well, Jagmeet Singh, it’s time to remove your head from the sand and have a look around. Judge for yourself if you think Canadians are going to reward you for ensuring the social plans you forced on them will translate into votes.

Not likely from where I sit, as most voters are blaming you for allowing the most despised government in history to stay in power and inflict even more hardships on them.

You can and will do as you like, but the way I see it no one is looking at you with admiration for adding to our suffocating debt, so call it a day.

Who knows, maybe some of the voters that have had their fill of Justin Trudeau, and may not be sure of Pierre Poilievre, may cast their ballot your way. After all, even a blind squirrel gets the odd nut.

DAWN OF ANARCHY?

We are a society governed by rules and regulations. Think of a situation and there is likely a rule or regulation that can be applied. Break a rule or regulation and the consequences can be severe. In some instances, jail time may be required.

In the last several months, some protesters have threatened to murder individuals; we have had men of God (the religion being inconsequential) preaching genocide; in some places there have been unauthorized street protests that endanger the public. I could go on, but you get the idea.

The reaction by police to the above situations has sometimes been to ignore them. Rules and regulations are in place for a reason. Does failure to enforce them mean we may be slowly moving towards anarchy?

READING FROM THE SCRIPT

Ever notice how Foreign Affairs Minister Mélanie Joly is always putting her foot in her mouth with confusing and vague statements to conform to whatever prevailing winds are blowing at the time? Can’t blame her too much, though. She’s probably only reading or repeating whatever script is given to her.

Can you believe some have actually included her as a candidate to replace Justin Trudeau as leader of the Liberal party? Just what we would need: another unqualified leader to devastate the country even further.
