Halloween is just around the corner, and some of you might be celebrating already. Perhaps you’re spending the weekend by breaking out a particular game for the celebration.
What are some of your favorite games to play around Halloween? Do you go for something a bit more cozy like Luigi’s Mansion? Or maybe you opt for something more along the lines of Resident Evil? Let us know in the comments below.

After getting through the first five worlds, I can honestly say that I only had a “decently good time” with Super Mario Bros Wonder (compared to most other 2D mainline Mario games, which gave me great times, New Super Mario Bros series included).
In some cases, I wasn’t a fan of the Wonder Effects due to how they blemish the structured pacing and focus of the previous 2D Mario games, as well as the bosses (so far) being some things I expected much better out of, even when compared to Super Mario 3D Land’s bosses. The new power ups also didn’t leave me as impressed, at least compared to the Hammer Suit in Super Mario Bros 3, Cape Feather in Super Mario World, and even the Gold Flower in New Super Mario Bros 2.
On the flipside, the new art style is leagues above any of the 2D mainline Mario games, being given a sizeable list of playable characters is cool (even though I do wish the Yoshis were useable without the need of an additional player), and when (some of) the Wonder Effects are fun, I really had fun with (some of) them.
All-in-all, I’m sure Nintendo EPD had something special put out for this sort of thing and I appreciate that, but I’m hoping the next Mario game in this style sees more polish and improvements.
Edit: 100%ed the game.

Just 100% it.
My second only 100% game after Sea of Stars for this year.
What. A. Game.
