A new month just started up this week. Now that we’re in July, we want to know what you’ve been playing.
Are you playing the recently-released Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD? How about other games like Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble, Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition, or Tchia? No matter the case, let us know in the comments.

It was a great Direct and went against everyone’s expectation that it would be filled with nothing but ports or remasters.

What more can be said about that direct? With what might be the Switch’s final big direct Nintendo showed us why I call it “Nintendo’s Dream Console”. I don’t think we’ve ever seen such a stacked direct, with so many big announcements (some not even Nintendo related, like MvC collection and DQ3 remake) – most with actual release dates, and most importantly: Gameplay.
And if all that wasn’t enough, we finished with a gameplay trailer for Metroid Prime 4. Perfect 10/10 showcase.
That’s how it’s done.

If this was Nintendo’s last big direct for the Switch, then it was a damn good direct to go out on.
I mean the 3 big surprise titles, starting show on a new Mario & Luigi game, a new Zelda game mid-way and ending it on Metroid Prime 4. That’s some good stuff right there.

Best Nintendo showcase since 2017, I think. The only thing it was missing for me personally was BoxBoy, which has been missing in action for 5 years now 🙁
