How to Emote and Dance in Lethal Company
Emoting and dancing in Lethal Company is straightforward:
- Dance Emote: Press the number
- Point Emote: Press the number
Emotes serve as a non-verbal way to interact. They are particularly useful for players who prefer not to use a microphone or don’t have one. Pointing is especially handy for this purpose. However, there is only so much you can do via pointing. You must also hope that they understand your intended meaning by giving the old one two point.
Emotes can make the game experience more enjoyable and less intimidating, introducing light-hearted gestures and movements.
As of the current version, you cannot customize these keybindings. They are set to the default keys, and there’s no option to change them yet. However, future updates might include customizable keybindings for these actions.
All Available Emotes
Currently, Lethal Company offers two emotes:
- Dance Emote: Activates a dance movement for your character.
- Point Emote: Allows your character to point at something or someone.
It’s uncertain if Zeekerss will add more emotes to Lethal Company. However, given the game’s existing wackiness, the addition of more emotes would likely be well-received. For situations like someone being eaten by a worm or a spider!
These emotes provide a way to communicate effectively, especially when you’re not using voice chat. The Point emote is handy for drawing attention to specific elements in the game, while the Dance emote adds a fun, celebratory aspect to your interactions.
