It comes after the group shocked fans by canceling their US tour in August, just three days before their debut.
He shared the reason a day after fans were shocked to find emails in their inboxes announcing concert cancellations and refunds.
In his statement, Hill attributed the cancellation to low ticket sales.
However, he blamed the lackluster sales not as a result of fan apathy, but rather the 'sensationalism' of the media and 'clickbait headlines'.
'The decision has been made with difficulty to pull our upcoming North American tour dates,' he wrote, 'while shows in the UK and Europe are moving forward as planned.'
While the Lauryn Hill singer's Miseducation has had a reputation over the years for canceling shows and having late start times, she attributed the latest cancellations to a medical issue.
'Last year, I faced an injury so I had to reschedule some of my shows,' he explained. Unfortunately, some media's penchant for sensationalism and clickbait headlines has created a story that has affected ticket sales for the North American leg of the tour.

'The faith and belief I have in my pursuits and my commitment to my art seems to be overshadowed by this unfortunate portrayal,' he added.
Demand for the UK and European shows may have been high due to the lack of demand, as Hill reminded his fans that people in those regions had 'not only yet to see a misguided academic anniversary, but also the Fugees performing together over 25'. Years!'

After thanking fans for their understanding and reiterating that a UK and European tour will begin in October, Hill added that he would be back 'full force' with the Fujis for future North American shows.
For the third year in a row, the group canceled tour dates, leaving fans heartbroken.
The reunion tour was originally announced for 2021, but was postponed before being canceled in January 2022 due to Covid conditions.
Lauryn's last major performance was at the BET Awards in June.
