Now, Annie has 'secretly' taken the first step to discuss the divorce, but the final decision is yet to be taken, sources said.
An insider told The Sun: 'Annie is ready to go through with it.
'She wasn't confused and spoke to lawyers about what the future would look like.
'Divorce has been a threat all year, but things are starting to come to a head.'

Annie and Kyle have been struggling to save their broken relationship for the past year.
The pair share Roman, 11, Ryan, seven, Reign, five, and five-month-old son Rezon, while he has 13-month-old Kinara and Cairo, four, with Lauryn.
Earlier this week, Annie faced accusations that she 'married Kyle to take a financial windfall' after the footballer's multiple cheating scandals.
She is reportedly planning to get out of the relationship since 2019.
In May 2019, Kyle dated reality TV star Laura Brown over his alleged affair with Lauryn, 33.
Kyle was embroiled in a paternity scandal and courtroom showdown with the model earlier this year when the news came to light.
A source who spoke to The Sun revealed: 'Annie married Kyle for love, but she knew in her heart she had to do it to save herself and their children a financial crisis.
'He has been planning to leave for some time due to financial issues. Annie is really very smart and nobody's fool.
“People might think she's a doormat, but Annie is smart and knew she had to get married to get access to Kyle's money.”
The source said some of Annie's WAG friends advised her to leave him in 2019, but others suggested she marry him to 'protect herself' if he cheats again.
