Kristin Cavallari is “frustrated” and “disappointed” by her ex-husband Jay Cutler's arrest for DUI and weapons possession, sources have exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com.
The former NFL star, 41, was arrested in Tennessee on Thursday after he was pulled over for allegedly driving while intoxicated with two weapons in his vehicle, including a loaded handgun, according to a police report obtained by DailyMail.com .
Cutler was released from the Williamson County Jail after posting $5,000 bail.
According to a source, Cutler always “marches to the beat of his own drum” and “Kristin gets along well with him, but this is disappointing.”
“She'll talk about it on the podcast, but she sees it as a black eye and now she has to come out and respond,” they shared.

The source added that Cutler was always going to “do whatever he wanted to do,” which played a big role in the breakup of his marriage.
“That won't change, which is one of the main reasons they broke up,” they added.
A source shared that Cavalieri thought her ex-husband was “pretty much fine” and that she didn't expect this to happen.
“Now that he's there, they're going to have some conversations about where his head is at, if he needs help or if it's just an unfortunate incident,” they explained.
“Of course he's happy and no one was hurt or worse, but it's frustrating having to deal with Jay's problem,” they said.
The source continued: “Christine has no world in which this should have happened, but now it is, they will get over it and she can only hope for the best, but it's not looking good.”
Cutler, who spent 12 seasons in the NFL, most notably as the starting quarterback for the Chicago Bears, reportedly did not have the post-football career he envisioned.
“If I could still play, I would in a heartbeat,” the source confided.

Cutler and Cavallari, 37, were married for nearly 10 years before divorcing in 2022. They share three children: Camden, 11, Jackson, 9, and Sylar, 8.
Earlier this month, Christine claimed custody of her three children following her divorce.
In 2020, the couple initially agreed to split custody every two weeks.
