Whether you like them or not, match-3 puzzlers are big money, making up 10% of the mobile gaming market to the tune of one trillion yen, so it’s no surprise everyone wants a piece. This time around, we have a hit anime series joining the trend with Bleach Soul Puzzle.
This comes in the wake of developers KLab shifting their focus towards hybrid casual games, and of course, it doesn’t hurt to tag on a big name like Bleach. With full support for English and Japanese languages, Soul Puzzle will be released in over 150 countries later this year.
In Soul Puzzle, you will team up with miniature versions of your favourite Bleach characters as you engage in match-3 gameplay, assisted by your little warriors blasting away pieces with their attacks. You can even make rooms out of your army in order to recreate your favourite scenes from the series or make your own episode.
Bleach Soul Puzzle is available to pre-register on the App Store and Google Play, with a few incentives to boost the numbers. 50,000 registrations will result in everyone getting 1,000 Coins, and 100,000 will reward a Refreshing Boost Set to keep you playing long. If it reaches 150,000 then 10 randomly selected winners will get an Acrylic Stand of Ichigo, but you need to follow the TwiX account to be eligible for that.
There is also a secondary campaign going on with a chance to win an autograph from Masakazu Morita, voice actor for Ichigo Kurosaki. Until July 22nd, you will need to follow the Bleach Soul Puzzle and Brave Souls TwiX accounts, and then repost the campaign post from the Soul Puzzle one. Bit cheeky making the Brave Souls one mandatory, but worth it to be in with a chance to win one of three autographs.
