We finally got our first glimpse at Ghost Games’ Judas today, as the mysterious game was given its first gameplay trailer during this evening’s State of Play broadcast.
While not too much context was given away in the footage – there was a distinct feeling of Bioshock in the trailer, given it too uses the familiar first person perspective as well as shots of a dystopian city – albeit with a slightly more cyberpunk-esque bent to proceedings. It should be no surprise, as Ghost Games is made up of former Bioshock developers, including studio founder Ken Levine who is the game’s creative director.
Of course, there were plenty of explosive weapons and some gnarly looking powers – but unfortunately we still didn’t get a potential release date for the game – only the reassurance that it was in development for the PlayStation 5 and a later confirmation it’ll also be coming to Xbox Series X|S and PC. Hopefully then it won’t be too long before we see more – we first got to hear of the game at the 2022 Game Awards, but until now we hadn’t heard much since.
For now, Judas will be arriving on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC at some point in the future.
