Arch Manning held everything down instead of Yars when he got hurt. Manning threw four touchdowns on 12 passing yards after replacing Ewers in the Longhorns' victory over UTSA.

The Texas offense couldn't avoid defeat without its star quarterback, as Manning led the Longhorns to 86 combined points in his two starts in Ewers' absence.

In those two starts, Manning threw for 583 yards with four touchdowns and two interceptions.

The Longhorns had their bye last week, and that's when Ewers began ramping up his training in hopes of playing. against Oklahoma Saturday
