After the iconic runway show, which was broadcast live from New York for the first time in five years, Victoria's Secret models descended on the brand's after-party.

Tyla, who performed during the show, was joined by the likes of Alessandra Ambrosio, Purple Moss and Ashley Graham as they headed to the bash to celebrate the show's huge turnout.

The models had to undergo months of training before the show, working with personal trainers and following a healthy diet to ensure they looked their best for the occasion.

But a coterie of genetically-blessed stars enjoyed a night of fun after he performed, as they headed to an after-party to let their hair down to mark the show's arrival.

Tyla, 22, who performed her smash hits Water and Push 2 Start, looked like one of the Victoria's Secret models as she slipped into a white lingerie-inspired ensemble at the party.

Despite anticipation for the show, fans have slammed the return of the new Victoria's Secret Fashion Show after a six-year absence – branding it 'boring' and lackluster.

The evening event marked Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio's first Victoria's Secret runway walk. First transgender model to represent the brand in 2019.

It was a far cry from the peak of the event, where outrageous styles and outfits dominated the fashion world for weeks after appearing on the show – before the company was hit by scandals including claims of a 'toxic' workplace culture.

Victoria's Secret has seen sales decline, with critics suggesting that a move towards greater 'content' in recent years – including the use of plus-size models – has failed to appeal.

Tuesday evening's show also marked the Victoria's Secret runway debut of transgender Brazilian model Valentina Sampaio.

Cher served as headliner last night alongside Blackpink alum Lisa and rising star Tyla — marking the show's first all-female musical lineup.

But there was a backlash earlier on X with criticisms of tone-down production values ​​that lacked Twitter shimmer and 'woke' efforts.

The lingerie brand is famous for its glamorous catwalks, which have featured the likes of Cara Delevingne and Miranda Kerr as its 'Angels'.

Models have been seen strutting down the catwalk in the past in 10ft white feathered wings, thongs and basques – although the new show was seen by many as a letdown.

'Victoria's Secret is back with a very boring show,' one poster said, while another poster wrote: 'Victoria's Secret show is so modern and boring now, I'm disappointed.'

A separate commenter said: 'Victoria's Secret has yet to listen to our public demands. This is not the show we wanted. Everyone's hair is flat, there are no very tall models, and the whole production is different.

Another commented: 'Victoria's Secret really said wake up and break out.'
