The Game Awards 2023 is about to begin and there are lots of things to anticipate. There will be a boatload of exciting reveals and trailers, and it will be nice to see all of the rewards handed out, too. Another exciting aspect is the Steam Deck giveaway. Although the number of freebies is very limited, it’s very easy to be in with a slim chance of winning a free Steam Deck during The Game Awards 2023.
Although Geoff Keighley’s event is the biggest of the year, it’s already been usurped by Rockstar with the release of the GTA 6 trailer. This trailer already has over 100 million views in less than two days, and it has allowed us to learn several things about the game so far including the release window, setting, and main characters. We still have numerous trailers and reveals during TGA, but it’s hard to fathom anything bigger than Grand Theft Auto.

How to win a free Steam Deck from the Game Awards 2023 giveaway
You simply need to enter at tgasteamdeck during The Game Awards 2023 to possibly win a free 1 TB Steam Deck OLED. Entries begin at the Game Awards 2023 start time of 4:30 PM PT and 7:30 PM ET on December 7th, as well as 12:30 AM GMT on December 8th. You must enter before 8 PM PT and 11 PM ET on December 7th and 4 AM GMT on December 8th.
In addition to entering between the above hours, you must also be at least 18 years old and legally reside in any of the following countries:

Plus, there’s no chance of ever winning the lottery if you never enter it. Winners will be notified by email on December 8th. While you can watch the event live on Steam, the rules say all you need to do is enter and you can watch the event on any platform you prefer.
