EA Sports FC 24 is adding a lot of new things to the formula, with additions such as Evolutions in Ultimate Team, where you can take one of your favorite players and use them in Evolutions throughout the year to improve their card and keep them usable at any point during the game’s cycle. While there are fantastic additions like Evolutions in the menus and quality of life areas of the game, some great additions have come to the gameplay like PlayStyles and Precision Passing. How to use Precision Shooting in EA Sports FC 24
First things first, let’s discuss how to actually turn on Precision Shooting in EA Sports FC 24. To do this, you’re going to want to head into the setting menu, and then into Gameplay Settings. Once you’re in Gameplay Settings, you should see the shooting category right near the top underneath presets. In here you should be able to see the option labeled “Shot Assistance”, which has a few options that you can run through. One of these is Precision, where the game says “Shot direction will be partially assisted. Aiming at the goal results in more accurate shots and faster ball speeds.”

This is how you turn on Precision Shooting in EA Sports FC 24, but unlike its passing counterpart, it isn’t exactly just a way for you to place shots. From my testing in gameplay, this feels like a way for you to accurately aim your shots at goal to get them to go closer to where you’re actually aiming. It reminds me personally a lot of the “Semi” option you have for passing, where you can influence where it goes, and it’s very effective when put to good use, but it’s still assisted to a degree. When you’re in game, you will see a small line at your player’s feet when you go to shoot, this is the indicator for Precision Shooting, and is how you know where you’re aiming.
