Unlocking the Gem cutter requires players to craft Rough Amber with the help of Amber that can be found in the Dry Valley Mesas. Alternatively, night is a better time to visit the desert, but since the area is filled with fierce enemies at night, players should bring a villager with them to take on those enemies.
Once you’ve reached the biome, you’ll find tall cliffs and Amber is usually found at the top of these rocks. Players can take advantage of makeshift ladders to climb these cliffs and access Amber.
